Early 19thc Woven Silk Fabric Purse with Decorative Button

Probably made in the late 19thc - with earlier silk woven fabric which has a teeny spangle overlay on parts of the design. In a simple clutch envelope design with plain silk lining and interior pocket in cream silk. Finished with a fine metallic braid and beautiful period button, metal with paste stones and painted rose under glass. A few spangles missing in places but overall the silk is in very good condition. Measures 19cm x16cm when closed.
