This is my own design inspired from an original vintage handbag in my collection of Edwardian beaded bags.  This is a larger version measuring approx.  16cm x 16cm without ribbon.  Made from a rescued piece of Victorian patchwork, I have trimmed it with a length of original 1920's glass bead fringing.  The patchwork is a little shabby and timeworn, but I think that this just adds to its charm!  Filled purely with French lavender.
