This is my own design inspired from an original vintage handbag in my collection of Edwardian beaded bags.  This is a larger version measuring approx.  16cm x 16cm without ribbon.  Made from a vintage French creamy coloured linen, I have trimmed it with a fragment of Victorian lace and an Edwardian hand embroidered silk dress decoration.  The silk has perished a little in the centre so is a little shabby, but I think that this just adds to its charm!  Filled purely with French lavender.
