Vintage White Embroidered Linen Handbag Pillow with Diamante Button & Glass Fringe
This is a beautiful, unique large sized 'handbag' shaped pillow made using a plain white vintage rustic French linen textile. Onto the linen I have overlaid a piece of hand~embroidered vintage linen with a hand~worked lace edge (a corner of an early 20th century handkerchief). It has a wonderful old sparkling diamante button and original 1920's glass beaded fringe with tiny silver and clear seed beads which I have hand~sewn in the bottom of the bag. It measures approx. 16.5cm x 16cm without the ribbon hanger and fringe (which adds another 5cm to its length). It is firmly filled purely with the finest French lavender. This would make a wonderful wedding keepsake or gift or if like me you dream of a white christmas...
